Welcome to Assam FM. By using our mobile application ("App") or website ("Website"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Assam FM, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. We may update these Terms at any time — continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One account per person — multiple accounts may be terminated
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile updated

3. Content & Listening

Free Content

Many audiobooks and chapters are available for free. Free content may include advertisements (banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads).

Premium Content

Some chapters and albums require purchase using your in-app balance. Purchases are final once unlocked. Balance can be added through Google Play in-app purchases.

Rewarded Content

Some chapters can be unlocked by watching a rewarded video advertisement. Availability of ads depends on your region and ad network availability.

For Listeners

• You may follow authors, like posts, bookmark content, and leave preset comments
• You must not harass, spam, or abuse authors or other users
• Content is for personal, non-commercial use only

For Authors

• Authors may upload audiobooks, chapters, and posts through the author panel
• All uploaded content is subject to review and approval by our team
• Authors must own or have rights to all content they upload
• Authors earn revenue based on views/listens as per the platform's reward system
• We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content that violates these Terms

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Upload, share, or distribute copyrighted material without authorization
• Record, download, or redistribute audio content from the App through unauthorized means
• Attempt to bypass the App's content protection or watermark system
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to inflate views, likes, or earnings
• Create fake accounts or manipulate the reward system
• Upload harmful, offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Interfere with the App's servers, security, or other users' experience

7. Intellectual Property

The Assam FM App, brand, logo, design, and codebase are our intellectual property. Audio content belongs to respective authors. You may not use our branding or content without written permission.

8. Content Moderation

All user-uploaded content (audiobooks, posts, comments) is reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines, including but not limited to: hate speech, explicit material, spam, copyright violations, and misleading content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the reward or view counting system
• Upload prohibited content repeatedly

Upon termination, your access to purchased content may be revoked. Unused balance is non-refundable upon termination for cause.

10. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Audio content quality depends on the original upload by authors
• We are not responsible for third-party content, ads, or linked websites
• Ad availability and behavior are controlled by Google AdMob

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assam FM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, revenue, or access to content.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Assam, India.
